Glad to hear you had a great time. I was thinking Bridgette was here in the states. Can't wait to see the pics. I'm also excited about the store special. I hope Chicago has the same one too since that's where my PS is. Thanks for letting us know.

Sounds like you all had a great time Ria! I'll look forward to seeing your pictures.
I was watching CNN this morning and they covered the story about the bomb threats. Good idea staying at your aunt's house for a couple of days.

I arrived this morning and currently I'm trying to keep myself awake for another 2 or 3 hours before finally hitting dreamland. My sister and BIL picked me up at the airport, and we collected Kamilla from her friend's house as she spent the night there. I spent the rest of the day with my family, suprising Kamilla with lots of presents and also telling about the trip and showing the first few hundred pictures of the total of 880 I took. Don't you love digital cameras?
I can't believe our wonderful 2 weeks trip is already over. I'll tell you more about my wonderful trip through the beautiful New England region later tomorrow, once my brains are working again properly at the moment it is rather zombie-like - only managed about 1 hours of 'dozing' on the plane before arriving home. We had the plane to Frankfurt at 4:20 pm from JFK, so arrived East Coast time at midnight, and our connecting flight left 2 hours later - that's when I was rather tired and tried to get some sleep on the short one hour flight.
I had a wonderful time meeting Ria and Sandra, and would have also wished Sandra would have been able to join us for a longer time, but alas work. I enjoyed every single minute with them and even my friend Bea - who hates dolls - had a good time at AGP.
With Ria's great help I managed to leave AGP with 3 huge bags which included 3 dolls - two of which are Christmas presents: Kaya for Kamilla and Kit for my sister (she's going to get her first American Girl this year), plus lots and lots of outfits and bits and pieces. I spent almost the whole night unwrapping all the boxes and putting the items safely but in a less place consuming way in my suitcase - and I managed even with all the other gorgeous things I bought.
I was a little worried about walking through customs at the airport here, but didn't get stopped - phew what a relieve. Glad we don't have to fill in these customs reports you Americans have to do every time you re-enter your country.
Oh, and before I forget, the new girl who joined Felicity, Addy and Elizabeth here in Austria is: Josefina! She's absolutely gorgeous and I'm really glad I let Ria convince me to get her.

Welcome home and congratulations on Josefina- my personal favorite. I hope you recover from jet lag in good order- I've always thought West to East was much worse than the other way around.

It sounds like you really had a wonderful time! I wish I could have been at AGPNY to meet you!
You know...my mother's life long best friend was named Bea, or Beatrice. She's gone now...but will always be remembered by my family as "Grandma Bea". Whenever I hear that name I think of her. She was spunky, and sweet. I have very few childhood memories that don't include her. My children loved her, too.
Congrats on your Josefina, too. She's a gorgeous doll.
